When we had a litter out of Sage's Summer Glory and Snake River's Smoking Gun we knew we had to keep one of the puppies. Whimpy is an excellent family dog and better yet, a hunting machine. She is an all around dog with style, flair, and energy for days. She loves to retrieve! She hunts ducks with gusto sitting in the blind scanning the skies for potential. She is a classic flusher and if there is a grouse or a rooster around, she will find them and the rest is up to you. She excells regardless of bird species. We hunt grouse, Huns, pheasants, chukars, and ducks with her. She retrieves them all regardless of distance and conditions and she does it with gusto.
